Leonardo da Vinci museum in Florence is an interactive museum both for kids and adults, where children will be able to touch some of Leonardo da Vinci machines, playing with them to understand how they work, and parents can discover more deeply the story of one of the most ingenious men in the world.
Leonardo da Vinci was one of the most brilliant, intelligent and talented men in the world. He was a painter, architect, mathematician, scientist, engineer, musician and much more; his need to understand the phenomena of the world and human bodies in all its aspects has oriented his studies in many different directions.
On this guided tour we will retrace together some stages of his life, analyze his inventions and discover curious anecdotes about his personality. Here are kept about 50 life-size working machines built following his sketches and drawings: war machines, flying machines, machines for civil engineering projects, just to name a few.
This tour at Leonardo interactive museum is an engaging experience for kids who, by touching da Vinci machines in person and using their imagination and wits, will be able to understand how they really work and how Leonardo came up with these ideas.
