During my guided tour in Chianti I will accompany you on a journey through nature and excellent local food and wines. You will visit a countryside farm specialized in the production of Chianti wine and extra virgin olive oil, you will taste typical Tuscan products and dishes on its panoramic terrace and you will visit enchanting little-known medieval villages.

Moreover, if you are looking for an even more unforgettable gastronomic experience, at the end of the guided tour you can also attend a cooking lesson in a private countryside house or a farm in Tuscany, to learn to cook some of the most typical Italian and Tuscan recipes, thanks to the help and teachings of a local expert in cooking!

In these cooking lessons in Tuscany, you will be able to immerse yourself in local culinary traditions and enjoy lunch / dinner as if you were a member of an authentic Tuscan family.

The lessons are usually held in a typical private countryside house or farm in Chianti, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, and the owners, passionate amateur cooks, will tell you about the most common Tuscan recipes and the best techniques and ingredients of Tuscan cuisine, as well as reveal some little secrets and tricks that you can put into practice yourself in making a perfect Italian style meal.

After this brief introduction, equipped with a chef’s apron, you will begin the “dirty work” and participate in the creation of a traditional Tuscan lunch. The menu consists in 4/5 courses: some appetizers, the first course that usually includes fresh pasta with a sauce, a second dish made of meat or vegetables with a side dish and last but not least the dessert.

You will only use super fresh ingredients, from small local producers or even produced in the countryside house vegetable garden, that are selected according to seasonality, so as to savor their authentic and natural taste.
